Finance Officer

About This Role

We are looking for a qualified Finance Officer to manage financial operations, prepare statutory accounts, ensure HMRC compliance, and oversee fleet financial planning. You will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the organization.

What You'll Do

• 01Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• 02Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• 03Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and tax requirements
• 04Prepare statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors
• 05Oversee fleet financial planning and cost analysis
• 06Process payroll and manage employee expense claims
• 07Develop and maintain financial forecasts and budgets

What We're Looking For

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• 3+ years experience in financial management
• Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations and HMRC compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Experience in logistics or transport sector preferred
